The about pages tells you about me. The now page is designed to tell you all about what I am up to now.
Now I am living in Peru, although I am from the UK originally. I recently (a year ago) moved from the north of Peru to Lima which I am thoroughly enjoying.
I spend a fair amount of time playing and trying very slowly to improve my tennis. I also run daily, although sometimes very short distances. This is the only New Years resolution I have managed to keep.
I was pretty fat at the beginning of the year. I am still quite fat, but less fat than I was. I have a goal of a six pack by 50, which is two years ago. I don’t think I have the discipline to have a six pack for very long, but am keen to have one once in my life. And I never want to be as heavy as I was.
I recently started drinking coffee with butter and coconut oil, it’s interesting. I will have a test after a month or so to see how my numbers are looking.
I am still running my business, Vashon Media – a web development company, but it’s not going the way I want it to so I am working on improving this. I am also time looking at some other areas in which I can develop the business, so will see.
Where I am looking to improve
Someone challenged me to answer these questions. They are pretty good ones so I repeat them below. I am working on answering them… Maybe a blog post!
- If all work paid the same, what would I do?
- What if I knew I couldn’t fail?
- What would I go after?
- What do I want in my life?
- If I could NOT fail, what would I try?
- If I had unlimited confidence, how would I live?
- What do I do in my off time?
They say that the most successful people concentrate on doing no more than three things at the same time. In the podcast, Exponential Wisdom, they mentioned the idea that we should aim for three accomplishments every day. I am working on that too. If I can do both I suspect the next time I update my now page it will be different!
Thanks for reading. If you are interested the Now Page is the idea of a guy called Derek Sivers. You can see what he is doing now here: https://sivers.org/now.
