Yesterday I heard about an event called The Mongol Rally. This seems like an insane concept where you drive from London to Mongolia in a clapped out old car with an engine size smaller than 1 litre!
This is year two of the challenge. Last year 6 cars left London and 4 made it to Ulaan Bataar. This year some 50 cars are meant to be leaving. Today I decide that I have to be one of them!
I send an email to the organisers and am told that there should be a space.
To do list:
Find a Car!
Plan the Route.
Find a co-driver!
Organise Visas.
Raise Money for charity.
